FT Madison Park Career Nanny Needed for Baby-Focused Position!
This lovely family in the walkable Madison Park neighborhood is seeking an experienced career nanny to bring their calming energy to this family of five. With two preschoolers and a newborn, this caregiver must be comfortable pivoting between focused, individualized attention, and managing all three together. The right fit is a nurturing, organized caregiver who thrives in a dynamic environment. They are seeking a strong, dependable team player with great communication skills to contribute to a collaborative environment.
This position will primarily focus on infant care while the older children attend FT school nearby. Experience with sleep training and baby led weaning will be invaluable. Time outside of school with all three children can include adventures big and small. The family holds memberships to local kid hot spots and also enjoy music and gym classes.
The perfect candidate would be comfortable leading the kids in outdoor exploration and encouraging imaginative play. Dress up is a fan favorite! Being pro-active about organizing developmentally appropriate activities to inspire creativity is key. Helping their children cultivate community by planning playdates would be appreciated.
Applicants should be open to local travel within their typical work schedule. The family would also love coverage for the occasional date night. This family is ready to welcome an amazing nanny into their lives!
Position Details:
Schedule: 40 hours/week, 9am-5pm, with potential for OT
Compensation: $36-40/hour
Benefits: Guaranteed Hours, Two weeks PTO of Nanny’s choosing, 8-10 Paid Holidays, Sick Leave
Duration: 1-year commitment with potential to extend
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
Baby-focused care for infant during the day
After-school care for older sibling and full-day care during school breaks or closures
Age-appropriate play, developmental support, and tasks related to the children
Occasional local with family
Ideal Candidate:
Very experienced with infants (minimum 3 years professional experience) and preschoolers and enjoys both ages
Warm, proactive, and reliable
Able to foster a nurturing, engaging environment
Communicative and desires a collaborative atmosphere, but also capable of self-direction
Open to becoming a valued, long-term part of the family’s support system
Dog friendly!
Strong swimmer
Reliable transportation
No accompanying children
Agency Requirements:
Minimum Three years of recent and relevant professional experience
Must be authorized to work in the United States and willing to sign a W4 and employment contract
A minimum of three exemplary employer/work-related references from recent positions held
Must be able to submit to a thorough background and driving record checks
Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
Have an up-to-date Infant/Child First Aid/CPR certification
Connectivity: must have access to a reliable phone with cell and internet access
Must be willing to wear a mask and work through minor illnesses
Nannies must be physically able to lift 40lbs and maneuver around with ease (if accommodations are needed and able to be provided for, please state this in your application)
Must have reliable transportation and insurance if pertinent to position
Must be non-smoking
